A classic, buttery Thanksgiving stuffing filled with fresh herbs, celery, and onions. Crispy on top, tender inside, and packed with holiday flavor; just like Grandma used to make.
Ingredients

1 loaf day-old bread, cubed (about 10 cups)

1 cup unsalted butter

1 cup diced celery

1 cup diced onion

2 ½ cups chicken or turkey broth

2 eggs, beaten

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tsp sage

1 tsp thyme

½ tsp rosemary

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Toast cubed bread for 10–15 minutes until slightly crisp.

Sauté onion and celery in butter until tender.

In a large bowl, combine bread, sautéed vegetables, herbs, and broth. Add eggs and toss gently.

Transfer to a greased baking dish. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncovered for 20 minutes until golden.
Notes
Use cornbread for a Southern-style twist.
Substitute vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
Double the recipe for larger gatherings.
