Description

Ingredients

  • 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ cup milk or cream

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Boil sweet potatoes until tender. Drain and mash until smooth.

  • Mix in butter, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla, and spices until creamy.

  • Spread mixture evenly in the prepared dish.

  • Top with marshmallows and bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

Add pecans or streusel topping for extra crunch.

Reduce sugar if you prefer a less sweet casserole.

To make ahead, prepare filling and refrigerate overnight. Bake before serving.
