Description

A creamy, flavorful twist on classic mashed potatoes, infused with roasted garlic and fresh rosemary. Perfect for holidays or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 1 bulb garlic, roasted

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • ½ cup heavy cream or half-and-half

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Drizzle of olive oil or melted butter (optional)


Instructions

  • Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain well.

  • Mash potatoes using a masher or ricer.

  • In a saucepan, heat butter, cream, and roasted garlic until melted and fragrant.

  • Pour mixture into potatoes, stirring until creamy.

  • Add rosemary, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning. Serve warm.

Notes

Substitute half the potatoes with cauliflower for a lighter mash.
