Ingredients

2 lbs Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed

1 bulb garlic, roasted

4 tbsp butter

½ cup heavy cream or half-and-half

1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary

Salt and pepper to taste

Drizzle of olive oil or melted butter (optional)
Instructions

Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain well.

Mash potatoes using a masher or ricer.

In a saucepan, heat butter, cream, and roasted garlic until melted and fragrant.

Pour mixture into potatoes, stirring until creamy.

Add rosemary, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning. Serve warm.
Notes
Substitute half the potatoes with cauliflower for a lighter mash.
Use vegan butter and oat milk for a dairy-free version.
