Description

Whipped ricotta topped with warm hot honey, herbs and crunchy nuts. A creamy, sweet and spicy appetizer for parties, dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk ricotta

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 pinch pepper

  • 1 cup honey

  • 1 to 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes

  • 1 tablespoon chopped herbs

  • 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped nuts


Instructions

  • Whip ricotta until smooth and airy.

  • Add olive oil, salt and pepper.

  • Warm honey with chili flakes.

  • Transfer ricotta to bowl and swirl top.

  • Drizzle with hot honey.

  • Add nuts and herbs.

  • Serve with bread, crackers or vegetables.

Notes

Use whole milk ricotta for best texture.

Add lemon zest for brightness.
