Description

A decadent, chewy caramel candy filled with crunchy nuts and coated in smooth chocolate. A luxurious homemade Christmas treat perfect for gifting and sharing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1 cup light corn syrup

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

  • 2 cups chocolate chips or melting chocolate

  • Sea salt for topping


Instructions

  • Line baking sheet with parchment.

  • Melt butter; add sugar, corn syrup, and condensed milk.

  • Cook to 238–242°F, stirring constantly.

  • Remove from heat; stir in walnuts.

  • Scoop onto parchment and freeze 30 minutes.

  • Melt chocolate and dip clusters.

  • Add sea salt; chill to set.

Notes

Use heavy-bottomed pot to prevent burning.

Freeze caramel clusters before dipping.
