Description

A simple and calming traditional tea recipe using roasted hojicha leaves, brewed hot for a rich and earthy flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp hojicha tea leaves (6g)

  • 16 fl oz hot water (203°F / 95°C)


Instructions

  • Preheat teapot by rinsing with hot water.

  • Add hojicha leaves to the teapot.

  • Pour hot water over leaves.

  • Cover and steep for 30 seconds.

  • Pour tea into cups evenly, alternating between each.

 

  • Tap out remaining tea and serve.
