Description

Flaky pastry wrapped mini sausages baked to golden perfection. A festive and irresistible appetizer for Christmas, New Year gatherings and holiday parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent roll dough or 1 sheet puff pastry

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds or sesame seeds

  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven according to dough package directions.

  • Unroll dough and cut into strips or triangles.

  • Wrap each mini sausage tightly.

  • Place on a baking sheet seam side down.

  • Brush lightly with egg wash.

  • Add poppy seeds or toppings.
