Description

A cozy, golden-baked dessert made with spiced apples, oats, and almond flour for a perfectly crisp gluten-free treat. Ideal for fall or any season.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 apples, sliced

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 cup GF oats

  • ¾ cup almond flour

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup butter or coconut oil

  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9 dish.
  2. Toss apples with lemon juice, spices, vanilla, and cornstarch.
  3. Mix oats, almond flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread apples in dish, top with oat mixture.
  5. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden. Serve warm.

Notes

Use GF oats and dairy-free butter if needed.

Store leftovers for up to 4 days.

Add nuts or caramel for extra texture.

Great served with vanilla ice cream.
