Description

A festive twist on classic deviled eggs; creamy avocado filling piped into tree shapes, topped with cheese and bell peppers for a stunning holiday appetizer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 tbsp Greek yogurt or mayo

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • ½ tsp lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper

  • Red bell pepper, diced

  • Shredded Parmesan

  • Yellow bell pepper for stars


Instructions

  1. Boil eggs, peel, and halve. Remove yolks.
  2. Mix yolks with avocado, yogurt, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pipe filling into tree shapes on egg whites.
  4. Decorate with red pepper, cheese, and yellow stars.
  5. Chill and serve.

Notes

Add lemon juice to prevent browning.

Use puffed avocado for vivid green color.
