Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 3 cloves garlic minced

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 4 ounces cream cheese

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan

  • 3 cups cooked rice

  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

  • Sear chicken in butter until golden. Remove and set aside.

  • Add garlic to skillet, then pour in chicken broth.

  • Add cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan. Whisk until smooth.

  • Return chicken to skillet and simmer until cooked through.

  • Serve over rice and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Use evaporated milk for a lighter version.

Chicken thighs stay juicier and more tender.
