Description

Soft, fudgy Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies filled with silky ganache and topped with festive sprinkles. A beautiful and easy treat for Christmas or any holiday occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter

  • ⅔ cup sugar

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1¾ cups flour

  • ½ cup cocoa

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • ½ cup chocolate chips

  • 2 tbsp cream

  • Sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Beat butter and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add egg yolk and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour, cocoa, and salt.
  4. Shape, press, and bake 10 mins at 350°F.
  5. Fill with ganache and top with sprinkles.
  6. Cool to set.

Notes

Chill dough if too soft to roll.
