Description

A flavorful and crunchy bariatric seed recipe that supports healthy weight management. Packed with fiber, protein, and micronutrients, this roasted seed mix is the perfect gut-friendly snack or meal topper.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup flaxseeds

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

  • 2 teaspoons nutritional yeast


Instructions

  • Combine Dry Ingredients
    In a mixing bowl, combine flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and chia seeds. Add sea salt and chili powder.

  • Add Olive Oil & Mix
    Drizzle olive oil over the seed mixture and stir until evenly coated.

  • Roast or Microwave
    Roast the seed mix in an oven at 325°F (160°C) for 7–8 minutes, or microwave on medium heat for about 4 minutes, stirring halfway through.

  • Cool & Add Nutritional Yeast
    Once cooled, sprinkle in the nutritional yeast and mix well for a cheesy, savory flavor.

  • Store
    Store the mix in an airtight container and consume within 2 weeks.
