Description

A rich, creamy cheesecake topped with glossy caramelized pecans, perfect for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and all holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 cups graham crumbs

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 6 tbsp melted butter

Filling

  • 24 oz cream cheese

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 2 tsp vanilla

Pecan Topping

  • 1 cup pecans

  • 1/3 cup butter

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup corn syrup

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • Pinch salt


Instructions

  • Prepare crust and bake lightly.

  • Mix cheesecake filling until smooth.

  • Bake until set.

  • Prepare pecan topping on stove.

  • Pour topping on cooled cheesecake.

  • Chill 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

Use toasted pecans for richer flavor. Replace syrup with maple for deeper taste.
