Description

A crispy, cheesy, tender chicken dinner inspired by the famous Longhorn Steakhouse favorite. Easy, comforting, and perfect for weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or sour cream
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken to even thickness.

  2. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

  3. Sear chicken in olive oil and butter until golden.

  4. Mix parmesan with mayo or sour cream.

  5. Mix panko with melted butter and parmesan.

  6. Spread parmesan mixture on chicken. Add panko topping.

  7. Bake at 400 degrees until golden and cooked through.

  8. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.

Toast panko for more crunch.

Add lemon zest for brightness.
