Description

These Crispy Homemade Baked Chicken Tenders are coated in golden panko crumbs and baked until perfectly crunchy. Served with a creamy herb dipping sauce, this easy oven-made recipe is flavorful, light, and family-friendly.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds chicken tenders

  • 2 eggs, whisked

  • 1 cup panko or breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • Olive oil spray


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Pat chicken tenders dry.

  • Beat eggs in one bowl.

  • In another bowl, mix panko, Parmesan, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

  • Dip each chicken tender in egg, then press into the breadcrumb mixture.

  • Place tenders on the baking sheet and spray lightly with olive oil.

  • Bake 18–22 minutes or until crispy and cooked through.

  • Broil for 1 minute for extra browning if desired.

Notes

Air fryer method: 390°F for 10–12 minutes.

Store cooked tenders in the fridge for 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.

Best reheated in oven or air fryer.
