Description

A simple, comforting, and flavorful one pan chicken dinner made with a silky garlic cream sauce. Perfect for healthy dinner ideas, quick weeknight meals, and meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 half cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden, then remove and set aside.

  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.

  • Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to release browned bits.

  • Stir in the heavy cream, parmesan, and thyme. Simmer until slightly thickened.

  • Return the chicken to the sauce and cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.

  • Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for extra flavor.

For a lighter version, use half and half instead of heavy cream.

Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, rice, or vegetables.
