Ingredients

1 lb spaghetti

1 can jellied cranberry sauce

1 lb ground chuck or Italian sausage

1 onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup chicken broth or red wine

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

1/4 cup grated parmesan

Salt & pepper to taste

Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions

Cook spaghetti until al dente, reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

Brown meat in a skillet until crisp.

Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.

Stir in cranberry sauce and mash until smooth.

Add broth or wine, simmer 10–15 minutes.

Toss pasta in sauce, adjust consistency with pasta water.
