Description

These buttery, melt-in-your-mouth Christmas Spritz Cookies are pressed into festive shapes, decorated with sprinkles or chocolate, and perfect for holiday baking or gift giving.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tsp vanilla or almond extract

  • 2¼ cups flour

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • Food coloring & decorations


Instructions

  1. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour and salt.
  4. Load into cookie press and shape.
  5. Decorate and bake at 350°F for 7–9 minutes.
  6. Cool and drizzle chocolate if desired.

Notes

Use ungreased baking sheets for pressing.

Add food coloring for festive designs.

Store airtight up to 1 week or freeze 2 months.
