Description

Juicy, tender meatballs simmered in a tangy-sweet cranberry glaze. The perfect festive appetizer or party dish for the holidays.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 can cranberry sauce

  • ¾ cup chili sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar


Instructions

  1. Mix beef, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper. Roll into balls.
  2. Bake at 400°F for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Simmer cranberry sauce, chili sauce, sugar, and vinegar.
  4. Add meatballs and simmer 10–15 minutes.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Add orange zest for a festive touch.

Keep warm in a slow cooker for parties.

Works with frozen meatballs too.

Double the sauce for serving over rice.
